Music without sound
Typical modern music: randomness as a composer's identity, originality, use of prepared material, representation as a show, mass consumption and the combination of different styles and genres using different pre-recorded sounds in one sound track.
Following the trends in contemporary music I tried to reproduce it visually but not directly by becoming a kind of mediator. For that purpose I created a special so-called "music-writing machine", functioning through special sticks, that give impulsions to the paint according to the vibrating sound , flowing on the canvas with the help of the given rhythm.
The canvas is also in motion – it rotates with the speed of a vinyl player.
The result of the rotation, colors and music sensitive sticks are depicted in the following pictures.
